Time flies. We had just put out a group project called Family Business (it’s on Spotify and Apple Music) as a collective called The Fam. At the core, The Fam was me, Pizon, and another dude EJ. We had a few singles spinning on some radio shows, we had a special phone number with a voicemail for people to leave us messages, and we did one video off of it. I actually played one of the cuts off of that album in a meeting I had with Def Jam at the time. During that promo period, we were asked to host the 4th installment of the mixtape series Underground Cypher and I did this verse for the intro.
I think Pharrell was feeling it the most. lol Who knows where this beat comes from?
